I think I like bad movies way too much. Not because they are bad and I think they are actually good, but because they are SO funny! Maybe I should start giving a review on bad movies! I'll do it on reverse scale like 5 to 1. Where 5 being so bad I couldn't even laugh or it made me sick and 1 is just a plain awesomely bad!

Have you ever watched a movie and then wished you could have that time back? Let me save you the trouble. Don't bother watching "The Virginity Hit" or "Catfish." "TVH" was about some high schooler gettin' some, and his bro's were posting the saga on the web. It was filmed documentary style. And...completely boring. I presumed, incorrectly, that it would be full of crude, juvenille humor...wrong. Such a dissappointment. I didn't even watch it all, just couldn't do it (no pun intended) "Catfish" was, I thought, a psychlogical thriller. Not so much. Again documentary style, again boring. But I did watch it in its entirety. Wish I hadn't. It was about this photographer that has a long-distance relationship with a fan of his work. Turns out the chick is not who she claims to be. Duhn, duhn, duuuhn! Yeah, not so much. He finally tracks her down to discover that she's some housewife who desperately wants something else out of life. Boo hoo. Snooze. It (the film) comes across as very real but I'm not so sure, for some of it anyway. When the women gets outed, and starts to spill the beans, she was not acting. So, who knows. Anyway, I wasted my time and, gulp, my wife's time. Duhn, duhn, duuuhn! Needless to say the Netflix Q has been rearranged...again. Sorry, Dear. Interestingly enough, both movies had to do with social networking and the, well, I guess perils of either not knowing who one is "chatting" with, or the fact that there is waaay too much 411 out there on people. Or perhaps that people willingly and foolishly put too much stuff out there thinking it's fun and not realizing the potential jeopordy one can find oneself in. Anyway, both DVD's showed up in my mailbox on the same day by chance not design. Oooo, maybe the gods of social networking were trying to tell me something that I could blog about! Well then, mission accomplished!

I went to see "Hall Pass" with some friends the other night. Damn! That shit was funny! A couple of reviews I read trashed the movie, but I was pleasantly surprised by it's raunchy, crude humor. Glad the wife didn't tag along, because of course there was a booby shot. And, oh, it was an instant classic of a booby shot. Hey-O! For those of you that have seen this movie, I have two questions; 1) why does that thing curve like that? 2) why would you fake that other thing there?
